This book's been out for a while and I actually own it, but I just haven't been able to find the time to read it. So yesterday, after running out of podcast episodes, I broke down and spent $12.99 on the audio version so the author could do the work for me.
Best Covid purchase so far.
Everyone's journey is so different, but I think these last several months have been really challenging for so many reasons and I think we're tired. And when we get tired, it's easy to feel defeated. And when we feel defeated, we sometimes want to stop trying.
Hands?✋
But today, my news feed is flooded with announcements of Ruth Bader Ginsburg's passing and I'm reminded of her fierce spirit and I can hear her saying, "Do not stop trying."
So I won't. And neither will you. (Starting Monday. For now, let’s just rest.)
I don't know what specific thing you need encouragement for, but if you need a little motivational kick in the pants (and a laugh while getting it), I think you'd like Jen's book.
You'll laugh.
You'll probably cringe now and then, "Hmm... yep, that's me."
You might cry, I don't know.
You may even feel like you've met a new friend.
But be ready to feel empowered.
And then, when you're done, go be your best bad💛ss-i-est self ever! (Spelling made-up words is a little harder than it looks.)
Happy Saturday!
...and RIP.RBG
